Dog Training/Boarding Agreement
This Agreement is between Dog Trainer Courtney Buchanan of Honor the Dog Training LLC and the undersigned Participant. By signing, you agree to the following terms:
📌 Program Options:
- 21-Day Board & Train: $2,800 total. $500 deposit to reserve, $2,300 due at drop-off. $150 cancellation fee applies with less than 7 days' notice. Deposit may be rolled to a new date with $350 additional deposit.
- Private Training: $350 for 3 sessions. Additional sessions $100. All training must be completed within 4 months. Communications expire after 4 months or 1 month post last session.
- Day Training: $1,200 for 3 weeks. $200 deposit required. Runs Mon–Thurs, 3 days per week. $20 late pick-up fee if after 1 PM. Two reschedules allowed before deposit becomes non-refundable.
- Boarding Only: $50/night. Drop-off/pick-up limited to 8–10 AM or 4–5:30 PM.
📌 General Agreement Terms:
- No guarantees are made about results. Every dog responds differently to training.
- Honor the Dog makes no warranties regarding future behavior, including aggression or biting.
- Participant agrees to follow all instructions given and acknowledges failure to do so may result in termination of training without refund.
- Participant agrees to the Exhibit A: Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement.
- Participant accepts the risks of illness, injury, escape, or behavioral regression. Veterinary decisions may be made at trainer's discretion and at owner’s expense.
- Honor the Dog may use photos/videos of the dog or participant for training and marketing purposes.
- This agreement is governed by Florida law. Venue is Brevard County, FL. Severable if any clause is invalid.
- This agreement constitutes the full agreement unless modified in writing.
- Participant acknowledges they have read and understand this contract and may seek legal counsel before signing.
📍 Exhibit A – Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement
- Waiver: You release Honor the Dog Training LLC from all claims of injury, loss, or property damage arising from training participation.
- Assumption of Risks: You acknowledge risks including minor to severe injury or death to you, your dog, or others. Risks include bites, slips, accidents, and behavior incidents during or after training.
- Indemnification: You agree to pay all damages and legal fees caused by your dog, including injury to other animals, people, or property.
- Severability: If part of this waiver is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
- Acknowledgement: You affirm understanding and acceptance of all risks and release Honor the Dog Training LLC to the fullest extent under Florida law.
By signing below, you agree to all terms in this Agreement and Exhibit A.
